Diabetic Foot &
Minor Surgery Clinic
The Diabetic Foot Clinic is a prevention program made to reduce diabetic-related disability, deformities, and amputation of the inferior extremities of Diabetes Mellitus patients or any other condition that may result in the loss of the foot protective sensation.
The minor surgery clinic includes a series of short-term surgical procedures performed under superficial tissues, as well as skin-lesions removal under local anesthesia, which are low risk and without significant or unexpected postoperative complications.
TeleAlivio
Medical emergencies outside business hours should be addressed by immediately calling 9-1-1 or going to the nearest emergency room. Also, Costa Salud have an exclusive health advice and consultation line, named TeleAlivio, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Mental Health
Mental Healthcare includes mental, social, and emotional interventions through a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Some of the services offered are:

Emergency Room
Our Emergency Room is located in Rincón and is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pediatric and adult medical emergencies are treated every day such as minor injuries, accidents, respiratory problems, severe pain, among other acute symptoms that put your life at risk.
Remote Patient
Monitoring
Costa Salud offers remote monitoring for hypertensive patients. This service allows patients to stay connected with their health care team from home – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The monitoring equipment is ordered by our primary care physicians and provide additional peace of mind. Our care team will call you to help set up your remote monitoring equipment- It’s easy! Language Translation
and Sign Language
Multilingual interpretation services for all non-Spanish-speaking patients are available. In addition, interpretation services through sign-language to hearing-impaired patients (deaf or hard of hearing) using portable devices are provided. These services are cost-free.
Nutrition
Healthy eating habits orientations are provided to promote health, reduce the risk of health conditions, and/or control diseases.
Case Management
Continuity of care is provided with an emphasis on referrals for specialists, studies and procedures, pre-authorizations, follow-ups to special and catastrophic coverage, among others.
Pharmacy
An extensive drug inventory is available, as well as a committed staff that helps you understand and maintain the proper use of your medications. Our pharmacies are located in Rincón and Aguada facilities. In addition, we have a home delivery service for medicines and automated system for refills.
Laboratory
A wide variety of laboratory tests are performed. Our high technological equipment enables us to deliver accurate results rapidly. In addition, the Health Certificates service is available.
Radiology
Conventional X-rays are provided, as well as some contrast studies.
Vaccination
Vaccination services are available to children and adults. In addition, the PVAC-3 sheet service is available.
Health Education
Health education is focused on self-management of some conditions, as well as the promotion of healthy behaviors for patients with identified risks or conditions, among others.
Transportation
Free non-urgent transportation services are available between the different locations in Costa Salud through routes and schedules established.
